Hi there,

I think PBR is tested and working already, but they are holding it back for the moment, as they are releasing first Crazy talk animator. I am quite sure, that release will not be ealier than End of September Oktober timeframe. The release for Iclone maybe then before x-mas. I just checked and saw that version 6 will have it's second aniversary around that time.

Maybe a dumb suggestion, I dunno, but a way to paint to the opacity map from iClone to hide poke-throughs. I'm not asking or expecting a full paint program, but something that could at least do this masking would be great. Same with displacement and weight maps, it would just be so more organic.

Don't know. With IC6 they probably didn't plan on adding CC. But during the IC6 cycle they probably thought it would be a cool feature so they created it.
There's still a lot of time for IC7 to develop if we're on a 2-3 year cycle. This wishlist is more of what could still be added to IC7.

I'd like to see IC7 with mocap ability to track fingers. I tech American Sign Language (ASL) and this feature would be huge help.

Edit prop in 3DX, apply to iClone option.
Custom 3DX face puppet option as Face Keys.
Motion layer to keyframes or reverse of Collect Keys.
Retime selected keys, match selected keys with motion duration stretching.  
Shape emitter.
Bone to bone collision detection/avoidance.
Bone angle relative morphing. eg: Bend elbow = muscle bulge.
Onion skin with option to just view the skeletons to keep processing lightweight.
Simple automatic crowds.
Freehand drawn path.
Mute all button in timeline panel.
Sliding timeline markers with go to next/previous marker buttons on timeline.
Masking planes, shape hides only a selected prop or avatar that comes between the camera and the prop but nothing else.
Shape or color coded to identify transition curves type keyframes.
Hide or floating window message panel option.
Textures at 100% Strength as the default value.
Force zero on X and Y hip coordinates at all frames option when saving motion.
Remove from object: material keys, constraints keys, button.

Re "Bone Stretching"...  I thought bone stretching came with iClone 5.5.  I remember a Reallusion marketing animation of a cat jumping, and they stretched the cat during the jump.  Anyone else remember that video?  Maybe it was specially rigged to enable that, and doesn't apply to avatars.


iClone 7... or 6.6???...  Curve editor so it would be vastly easier to make smooth, natural-looking animations without all the "jerk motions" at the keyframes.

Actually, they did. Mason and Heidi were always considered transitional characters (hence Beta in the bone names) with very few customization options. It's just that CC took additional time (intended or not) and they didn't want to postpone the release of IC6 further.
