Hi All,

In addition to new PRCC Products Line packs described in previous post I'd like to inform that substance tools v3dColorTune.sbsar and v3dColorTuneAdv.sbsar have been updated to new version. New versions have optimized (more compact) User Interface based on new iC7 substance support features.

This version still compatible with iC6, but You will see no UI changes.
If You have these tools as part of some previously published packs, You can download new version from Marketplace.

Cheers,
Vit

Greetings :)
I'd like to introduce my new project "Huntress". It includes 3 packs which can be found in Bigboss Treasures Store

PRCC Huntress Bases

This pack includes cloth bases for Huntress outfit, accessory and gesture.
All base models have high resolution (up to 2K) set of basic textures required for successful PBR materials construction in CC Appearance Editor - RGB Masks, Normal Maps, World Normal Maps, AO and Curvature. Base models have no pre-defined Fabrics and You can define fabrics and effects as You like.

PRCC Huntress Materials

This pack is "addition" to PRCC Huntress Bases and it includes photo-realistic PBR material for cloth models.

PRCC Huntress

This pack includes content from both packs mentioned above (bases, materials, accessory and gesture) plus ColorTune substance tools for tuning cloth colors directly in iClone using RGB MATs Masks.

Here demo images for this project -

Content with photo-realistic PBR materials:

Hope You will find this content useful.

Greetings,

Would like to inform that now "PRCC Huntress" pack also available from Content Store.
Unfortunately the link to the ZIP file with documentation and image masks is missed in Content Store but hope this will be fixed soon.
For a while You can download this file using the link from Marketplace or this direct link - PRCC_SP.zip

Cheers,

Vit

Hi,
I'm interested in purchasing your PRCC Male Casual Cloth. pack.

I'm a total noob to iClone and these packs (only a few days of experience) and I have a few questions. I'm also a programmer by trade, so please excuse the questions....I my knowledge as an 3D artist is limited.

I'm using iClone 7 and Character Creator 2 (I downloaded the latest versions of these on 5/26/2018).

1. Can I apply these clothes to any model I create that in CC2? I understand that there are limits to them working with different body types, I'm going to be sticking to close to the default body types for all my characters.
2. Are the clothes using RGB Masks? I would like to have as much control as possible.
3. I'm making a zombie game and need characters for the world. I don't want the clothes to be over the top when it comes to an apocalyptic look. I want them to wear normal clothes that is dirty and maybe ripped. Would I be able to do that with this clothes?
4. It seems that iClone relies heavily on Substance.  Are there different Substances that I can use to make dirt, rips etc?
5.  Do you have other packs with more casual clothing to purchase?

Thanks.

Hi Steve,

Many thanks that You are interested in my content.

To Your questions...

1. Cloth models in this pack have been created to fit Standard CC Male character, because of cloth models topology it's not recommended to use them with female model. If You apply character morphs CC automatically fit cloth to body changes. But, as You mentioned, any automatic feature has the limits and with some body shapes applied cloth could have issues. In this case CC allows to conform cloth manually (*).

2. RGB Masks (bitmap textures with specific colors) used in CC Appearance Editor for "separating" model surface for defining materials with different parameters (cotton, leather, metal etc.). CC Appearance Editor allows independently control up-to 7 "sub-materials" (material IDs). By default RGB Masks used in CC Appearance Editor only, but also they can be very useful in iClone as input parameter in custom substances for material control (like ColorTune substance tool included in my pack).

3. Dirty and Ripped cloth effect can be reached by modifying (creating) corresponding texture maps for cloth materials. For example for creating Ripped effect You can modify Opacity map.
These effects can be created in:
- External 2D editors (like Photoshop);
- CC Appearance Editor (*);
- Custom substances used in iClone for material modification.
Note: ColorTune substance tools included in the pack are not oriented on such use.

4. Sorry I do not know whether ready-to-use dirt/rips substances for iClone are exist or not.

5. You can take a look at complete list of my products if will visit my store -
https://city.reallusion.com/store/Vit3D
There You can find not only CC based character but also custom character specially created for iClone. Some of the products are available not only from RL Marketplace but from RL Content Store too (if this is more suitable for You).

(*) - Please see CC/iC documentation and tutorials for more detailed information.

Hope You will find my answers useful and, please, do not hesitate to ask, if You will have some other questions dealt with my content. :)

Best regards,

Vit

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm just noticing it as I thought the forum would email when you replied...I guess not :).

Ok, so I am able modify the meshes for clothes using the conforming button and even modifying the meshes directly...so I'm good with that.

About the RGB Masks. I guess I was asking if you supplied them with your pack to allow different parts of the clothes to be modified differently OR is it something that I would have to create myself?

Thanks getting back to me...I'l be purchasing them for sure...

Hi Steve,

All my CC cloth models have "essential" set of textures required for creating custom materials in the CC Appearance Editor  -- Normal, WS Normal, AO, Color ID (== RGB Mask) and last cloth models with PBR materials support also have Curvature maps. All these maps (textures) can be found if You activate CC Appearance Editor.
Unfortunately current version of CC Appearance Editor has no possibility to export these "basic" textures, so I always add copy of RGB Mask textures to my packs.  They can be found in ZIP files for packs which also includes some additional recommendations (see links in products description). These ZIP files is free for downloading and if You wish You can download them before purchase.
Would like to note that my RGB Masks are just recommendation how to "separate" cloth model to materials and, of course, You can create Your custom RGB masks.

Best regards,

Vit
