dennisobrien Just to let you know Adobe doesn't charge anything for their new upgrades and hasn't for a few years now. You no longer buy adobe products you buy a membership plan. I pay $74.00 a month and it gives me access to everything they've made.

 I never understand why people yearn for an iClone 7 release, while it's far more cost-effective for us to have a series of feature-rich 6.x releases. As old-timers will recall, we did very well with the 5.x cycle...:P

Yes I am of the same opinion. And many software makers do the same thing. In many cases a "new release" is simply an improvement on the latest version and should bean update (Microsoft Windows for example). However if development time is costly enough I guess they have a right to redeem some of those costs. I myself don't mind supporting those companies that don't charge the full price of a new version when I get benefit. I don't however support the likes of Adobe who charge an arm and a leg for their new releases. Or have in the past as I wouldn't know since I don't but any new releases of theirs for that reason. With iClone I didn't mind the $100 upgrade. But I fully support your reasoning.

Hmm, now I have to eat my own words...

I have had the opportunity to work with IC7 for a while, and it's a worthy upgrade...

I bought iClone6 last year, when iClone 7 comes out will I get the update for free or will i have to pay for it? Just wondering.

If you purchased iClone 6 before the Early Release offer was introduced then you will have to pay for the upgrade to iClone 7, however there is a reduced upgrade price available.

hi pete when part3 out for in the work iclone 7 :)

It will likely release around the same time as Early Access which is scheduled for later this month. Sadly a precise date I can't give at the moment.
