very good fractal video.
I had a Commodore Amiga 2000 and a C64. They made wonderful Mandelbrot Fractale videos. 
I just remembered, they are still on my house stage. More than 30 years old, I think they are not running anymore.

the mandelbulb program can also make
360 sky maps up to 8k res
which can be brought back in as a background for endless layering.
not to also mention that it can create jaw dropping videos
but your looking at 5-8 minutes per frame rendertime,
so you would probably want a 2nd computer for render only

They all come from the links I showed. There's a lot of exemples in each App. Just export as obj, reduce polygon number, some texturize in 3dcoat , some directly in Iclone.

I think I'll try that! Wish it generated materials for it.
