I played with some free app to generate Fractal meshes in Iclone. I love fractal and it looks like things coming from outer space....
Free but If you make a donation you can export better resolution Free
Free
Trial but limited for good resolution.The full version is too expensive for me.
And I use this: To reduce the polygons size because some meshes are 1.2 G , with 12 millions of polygons!!!!
All of fractal on this video are 300 or 400K of polygons.

Great video and thanks very much for the links. Which package did you use for the video or is it a max of things from different packages? Thank you.

@Toonarama They all come from the links I showed. There's a lot of exemples in each App. Just export as obj, reduce polygon number, some texturize in 3dcoat , some directly in Iclone.
@Pumeco Thanks!! :-)

sorry to necro-post the mandelbulb program can also make 360 sky maps up to 8k res which can be brought back in as a background for endless layering. not to also mention that it can create jaw dropping videos but your looking at 5-8 minutes per frame rendertime, so you would probably want a 2nd computer for render only
.
