I downloaded the CrazyTalk8_Pipeline Enu, CrazyTalk8_Resource Enu, CrazyTalkBonus_Pack Enu.
I installed the CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline Enu with my Serial Number. The software should start immediately after the installation, but then I got this error message:
_______________
CrazyTalk 8 AP has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
_______________

After this message, the software shut off. Whenever I double click the CrazyTalk 8 icon on the desktop, I keep getting the same error message. I use Windows 10 OS, DirectX 11.2 version.

Can anybody help me solving this problem? I hate to return it because I really like the idea of CT 8.

Make sure you've updated the drivers for your graphics card.

Also, go into your account and you'll see a place where you have the "patch" for CT8.  Go there and you'll find the latest version of CT8 (it'd odd, but it isn't a patch).  Uninstall the one you have and install this new one and see if that makes any difference.

Dear Kelleytoons,

Thank you for your answer. I did what you advised me to do and downloaded the latest CT 8 and the patch as well, uninstall the older CT8, reinstalled the newest CT8 and the patch as well, but still get the same error message. I was able to install CT 8 but can't open it.

My computer is a brand new computer, Dell Precision 5810, powerful for all 3D works (animation, rendering, modeling). I installed latest Maya, ZBrush, 3D Max without any problem. This is the first time I ever encounter 3D software crashing problem after successful installation.

No, what I'm saying is to NOT install the old version -- the "Patch" isn't a patch but a complete version.

So try this again -- uninstall what you have, reboot, and install ONLY the "patch" and see what happens.  After that, put in a trouble ticket (assuming you haven't already).

Hi friends,

Thank you so much for your information. The customer support already solved this problem. Apparently, there is a bug in the Dell's Backup and Recovery software. I download and install the upgrade from Dell and that solved the problem. I can open the Crazy Talk 8 now. Horraaayyyy.... thanks again for all.
