Here are vines I made that can be posed. The bigger one is perfect for a hose, as it is just a tube with a skeleton. Sometimes it works better to pose first and then turn physics on. It can give a better starting point. Of course, you can just animate the hose by the bones, and not use physics. Attach the vine to your nozzle with the bones pointing away from it so the nozzle controls where the hose goes. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3nsNVGroEz6MVNQY0NrSFFHeTA/view?usp=sharing I found a need for this tonight (poseable hose) and it works quite nice. Thanks Rampa!

Cricky (1/7/2016) Why not just use a Posable Firehose?
This was done in 2011, but I may still be able to find it.
yeah that is what I was looking for I have seen it for sale, but dont remember where and when I went to look for it I could not find it.

I have built, bought and tested different possibilities to animate water hoses but I have not found anything yet optimal. I would hope for something similar to this in iClone. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljE5TsyGvLw

I have sold it, just not on the Reallusion Marketplace. I can always put it up later, it may just take a few days to test and make sure it still works inside iClone6. The hose spray particles of course are part of the package. What would a firehose be that couldn't spray water, right? thedirector1974 (1/7/2016)
@ cricky I really searched for the posable hose you made, but until now nothing came up. Did you ever published that thing? I asume, you created this, right?

@ rampa Thanx for pointing this out. The tesselation prop works!!! Not perfect, but it will do for the shot. It's a wide shot, not as close as you see it in the picture I provided in my initial post. But i can only use the way from the spraying cone to the ground, nothing more, because of the animation of the firefighter. So I need a hose laying on the ground in this scene to cover that the "physic hose" is not conectetd anywhere ...
