Dear William,

Thank you for contacting Reallusion.

Please check the following items in order to solve the problem:

1) We suggest upgrading your graphics card driver to the latest version.

2) Please close whole terminate and stay resident programs.

3) If there is any Firewall, Anti-Virus or Anti Spyware in your system? If yes, please turn them off temporary.

4) If you are running the other applications at the same time, please stop them first.

5) Make sure that your PC has enough system resources.

6) Please try to download and install C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package.

Make sure your OS is up-to-date by visiting http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com with Internet Explorer.

Any errors reported on the DirectX Diagnose? Start > Run > DxDiag [Enter]

I had a similar problem with another application, the installation of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update (see Microsoft Knowledgebase 973544) solved the problem in my case.

Hope this helps.

I installed Crazy Talk standard after purchase, had a quick play to get the feel of it and everything seemed to be working fine. After rebooting I now get the message "Unable to start your application due to a side by side configuration error"

Can anybody offer any advice or solution to this problem, it would be much appreciated.
