Just for fun... I exported the Micah hair from Daz3d studio onto the new CC male character.
Looks like we may not be married to a bunch of new hair content, if we have some from other sources.
This should be good news for Daz users. I have a lot of daz hair, and there are some super quality choices available.
There are often super sale prices on hair in the daz shop frequently.
I exported this hair using OBJ format into 3dxchange 6. then saved as prop in Iclone.
I loaded the hair into Daz3d and moved it to the floor (gizmo position) in 3dxchange. This helps when you apply to the character - just a quick move up to the head.
If you notice from the attached IClone image the left box shows the file, and the right box shows where it attached properly.
One attachment shows hair is attached to character head and saved as accessory to the Basic Male.
Second attachment shows hair is attached to character and saved as avatar character
I loaded the Basic male character into the CC application removed the basic male hair, then exported hairless character to Iclone from CC.
I didn't try passing through 3dxchange, which I think would have worked as well.
I will try importing some other prop items from Daz3d that are body fit items.
This is a short hair, but I think weight map for dynamic hair should also work..
