I got this with all my v6 projects. All. I only work with softcloth and no project worked. After loading first any v6 native project, it worked. Anyway this is a very strange issue and error. Else regarding project loading of v5: Randomly they work. Very simple projects are no problem - but if they use any special light or other features (which are now gone and deleted by RL), the project is dead!

Also, occasionally I get a load error with projects as well. One thing to try is load an empty project first and then try again.

A number of older content packs have been updated for iClone 6, as listed here: https://forum.reallusion.com/Topic217045-385-1.aspx.

Except for avatars, the VNS files can be "converted" by changing the file extension. There are some recent posts about that. I have to go to work now, but I will check tonight.

EDIT: Cross-posted... Unless the iClone 5 projects contain older content (VNS files), they should import without problems. I have been able to continue my iClone 5 projects in iClone 6.

Hi Ken,
you can NOT vns 6 files do not load more in iClone. Hence the old projects no longer walk.
You must rename the vns files, depending on which type they are (iProp, iMotion, etc). Deione gezeichten files are 3 -Scenen. The file extension would accordingly Airport.iScene etc.

If you have avatars that have the extension .vns, you must first be defined in IC 5 store (they are then .iAvatar) Only then you can use them in IC6.

If you use your old projects again want you must first IC in 5 search what you used. If you have used such vns files, you have these parts in IC 5 only austaushcne save (to renamed files) the project again and reload in IC 6. Can sometimes pretty tedious to be (unfortunately)
