1. Use Infinite Plane Physics Prop, then place Plane_B Prop into your scene. 2. Place Ball Prop into scene like the image shows, add Soft Physics Preset 4-6 to the prop. 3. Press Play Button, adjust physics property to desired effect. Or you can key frame it using squash & stretch animation principles.;):hehe::D Hope this helps.:w00t::w00t::w00t:

Opps sorry wrong program, unfortunately I don't own CTA, but I'm sure the squash and stretch principle applies.
1. On ascent and descend the object should be elongated vertically(stretch) 2. upon contact with the ground the object should be elongated horizontally(squash) 3. Only at the height of of the ascent and after being squashed on the ground, should the object take it's normal state.
This technique can also be applied to objects travelling horizontally to cause the illusion of speedy movements or give objects weight.;)
I hope I was simplistic in explaining this invaluable traditional animation technique, for further study google: 12 principles of animation.:w00t::w00t::w00t:

It really depends what you are trying to bounce. Squash and stretch is a nice cheat but it doesn't apply to everything. The principle of slow-in and slow out (ease in and ease out), will get you better results. Or combination. The main thing to keep in mind is that the faster an object travels the less frames it needs to display it. The slower the motion, the more frames you need to display it. So play with the easing in an out. For example when a ball falls it picks up speed. As it bounces up it gradually loses speed until gravity wins and starts to pull down on it again.
