When you say things like you have. You are consenting to the development of content targeted for production of pornography. Yes, with this thread you are effectively licensing people to create porn using Reallusion applications and content. I take it you work for Reallusion. You have made a public policy statement in this posting, which may have altered other terms and conditions for the use of Reallusion applications and content.
Reallusion will be a party to any legal or criminal actions taken against people using RL content items. Reallusion will have made money from those transactions. RL will be legally bound to the perverts. Reallusion is an international company. Pornography may not be illegal in the US or some other countries, but what about the countries where it isn't legal. LOL When South Park offended people no one blames the software used to make South Park because that takes away the responsibility from the animation creators.

When South Park offended people no one blames the software used to make South Park because that takes away the responsibility from the animation creators.South Park animations are so simple it wouldn't surprise me they are done by an eight year old. I don't watch South Park, but from switching channel around on the TV I have seen some of the graphcis. I would not call it visual pornography? maybe trash talk, or maybe there is a term for it. Probably not a good example of pornography would be my guess. Regardless, Reallusion will stand for their own problems. Your comments have their merit, but you cannot stand in the gap or indemnify Reallusion when it goes bad. Reallusion has to make their own decisions about their business and regardless of what people think is fair, just or wrong, etc. Reallusion cannot ignore their business to appease a small group of people making noise.

and thank you Blue!  you took the words.. right out of my mouth!  hopefully those words were not covered too much with saliva.  thank you Kai and Peter. hopefully that will calm things down.. until the next grip. and now.. that evil has been destroyed in this universe.. I will now return to the vidius universe. because I am a god there.. and I got godly things to do.. like answering prayers, feeding my dragons and snails, admiring my space fleet, going the my children's birthday parties ( all 50 thousand of them) and seeing to it my wives and harem don't spend all of my money. I will need it for Iclone 6 and if I can swing it.. the pipeline. and so I bid you all a short farewell.. live long, and don't make any porns! vidius

@rampart If it does go bad I will think back on your words, I personally do not see it happening but it's a time will tell situation I guess. For now if people can live with the moves RL have made then it's done with.. Peace ...

no matter how it's put, the community is what will represent RL the most. I am very happy and proud of this community, and I'm not worried. considering the battles that have happened on this forum, it's kept together quite nicely. Also on that note ... To all Vet Developers....Many of our members on the forum are new, and in fact there are more new members than old ones. Please don't ask us to take sides in old disagreements, the new guys like all of you without prejudice. It's not proper to pull us into those fights. Part of this issue was no doubt made greater than it should of been because of issues that have nothing to do with the new guys. It's not right and it will only backfire. Please.

WOW! Now i see why they call him BIG BOSS. I can't believe no one said that yet.  On a serious note. I can see both sides of the coin here. It is not content for children but i think grown ups can make up there own minds. Besides, I don't think the part in question works. Maybe if you cut the guys arms off he will be considered a work of art.

I think RL provides a balanced solution. I also feel that emotionally charged words as "perverts" have no place in a serious discussion, as does mentioning of "legal" action. That sounds to me too much as pushing a restrictive cultural agenda.

prevention is better than cure, US federal law is very strict about it. you don't want RL being pulled in for someone elses actions, especially if the item was available for children to purchase. If it scared some people into making better decisions, good...the courts are filled with people that say "I can't believe this is happening to me" my position has nothing to do with my personal anything, and everything to do with the well being of RL, it's developers and community.

When I read statements like the above I suddenly feel very alone. It's as if, for some reason beyond my understanding, idiocy and deliberation regarding incorrect formulation of understanding the blatant facts is being promoted by those who simply wish to push the knife in because they want blood for the sake of it. If we suffice it to say, "When does a piece of string become a rope", the argument for pornography's beginnings and endings lies only in argument and contrast of predominant surrounding events of the individual observing such productive output. Nobody has the right to vet content created with these tools because the Artistic Licence is infinite but the placement of such goods for sale should have been vetted to restrict inappropriate viewing from the start. In so doing, such declaration is hardly a statement for freedom of sexual extremity in animated content by anyone let alone Reallusion. Morality lies in the global atmosphere of the production at hand and in this the Director HAS to be allowed the right to his imagination. I don't indulge in anything concerning nudity aside from the purist form of Thi-Mai but I find it appalling that creative licence should ever be culled for the sake of the primevally minded few. I'm happy that Reallusion are Happy that, globally, such content is allowed for sale provided it doesn't appear in Reallusion stores which are "Family arenas" by my interpretation anyway.
