This posting is to get feedback from persons that are interested to STOP THE SALE of content items in Reallusion stores and promoted on the Reallusion website that can be used for production of pornography.
If you are opposed to Reallusion providing a venue for the sale of these content items targeted to the production of pornography please let us know in this thread.

This past weekend Big Boss produced the above content items promoted and offered for sale in the Reallusion store.
Many of us viewed for the first time, to my knowledge, the introduction of content developed for the purpose of enabling the production pornographic videos.

Paragraph four of the Reallusion EULA reads -
4. iClone and/or CrazyTalk may not be used in a defamatory, scandalous, illegal, misleading, or otherwise unlawful manner.

It is my expectation that Reallusion will not allow the sale of any content that violates their EULA and the moral conscience of users of Reallusion applications and content items offered for sale in any of it’s shopping cart stores.

This is not a discussion thread about this problem, This thread is to make it clear there are many among our users that do not want these items offered in any fashion through any special store or arrangements on Reallusion stores, forums or the website.

Our members know how to search on the internet and have always known where to acquire these types of content items. Reallusion in the past has kept their sites in such fashion as to encourage high quality morally acceptable video production. There are large numbers of Religious and cartoon content items directed to persons of faith and children in the Reallusion stores. Persons of high moral character, religious affiliations and children have never had to be excluded from the forums or the website. That is how it should be.

As a reminder to Reallusion and other content providers. We realize there have always been persons that would produce and sell pornographic content to users. Yet, up to now, as far as I know the EULA has made it clear Reallusion applications and content are not to be used in such manner. Some persons may have gotten away with their productions, but Reallusion certainly could be compensated for damages and other abuses of the EULA. The pornography industry has been a party to so many lawsuits they have stayed within court accepted ranges for producing their film and videos.

We expect Reallusion to exclude any content items that would aid in the production of pornography. We don’t expect Reallusion to be the moral police, but we do expect when items are introduced that can be used for pornographic production that Reallusion will not allow those items to be sold in Reallusion shopping carts, promoted on the Reallusion forums or website.

This thread is not for debating among ourselves. This purpose of this thread is to establish who in our community of members is opposed to content proposed for creation of pornography.

We want to know who is against all such materials being sold or promoted from Reallusion stores and websites. There is to be no adult section or other device to conceal the content based on criteria that we all know is not enforceable.

If you are against this type of content express your opinion or simply indicate you are against it.

I do not wish to debate or cause ill feelings with anyone on this matter, however, I do have to state that I can see no other purpose for this "action enabled prop" than one thing and nothing else. Please explain to me how this can be used for anything other than the obvious.

This has nothing to do with nudity or the beauty of the human body as has been stated by others, this has to do with the fact that it's an obvious tool for creating very graphic and undesireable scenes. I am choosing my words carefully here.

If the item is sold quietly and privately....then who cares - but as far as I know, neither DAZ nor POSER stores have such a working prop on their shelves. As a developer, if I thought that this would give even one sicko the tools to create a video that could potentially harm children by depicting them in a sexual manner, along with violence - I would be sick that I, in any way, contributed to this. There is also the matter of the large customer base of educators and the religious affiliated groups. Almost every week, someone purchases several of the religious avatars such as Jesus and the disciples for animated church videos. The religious customer base is huge in iClone.

To leave this item on the shelf for short term profit, at the risk of alienating other good customers, is bad business practice. You don't see Sears or JC Penny selling sex toys for good reason...it's not appropriate.

Even mainstream movies, that show some nudity more and more, do not go this far.

I don't know how you can sugar coat the fact that this item with it's perform functions has a pretty clear use. While the posters on this forum defend it that no actual perverts are actually going to use this...how do you know? Do you really think that the makers of this sort of thing are going to post here?

I think that Reallusion should take a stand here and I know by posting I am leaving myself open to others attacking me. So be it. This just seems wrong to me. Sorry. We all have a right to our opinion and this is mine.

As a final note, even though it has been placed in an "Adult" section, if you go to the Marketplace and Search selective terms, the item is easily found.

I would be strongly opposed to censoring of any content in the Market Place that might be offensive to some people. If properly marked I don't see any problems. You don't have to buy.

Besides BB's latest offerings, I wouldn't necessarily consider all current content in the Market Place suitable for children of all ages if that is the issue. Again proper marking would help here.

BTW, I'm also opposed to the tendency to equate nudity with pornography as in recent discussions. Certain puritan sentiments strike me as hypocritical.

I was just looking / considering that too, suddenly the market place has become polarized to me. Some things were slipping by, but now because of this blatant product - it's going to inevitably cause a sweep and make everything questionable.

Suddenly the smallest things will be a big deal, because it's become the topic of the moment.

It is the action assigned to the item that I find worrisome.

If I may be serious here without attracting any Ire from anyone..
