Hi Guys

I bought the program, yea! I just tried it. Hu? When I try to load a video (any format) it says:
Codec not found in system or format not accepted......hu?

I even tried to reformat the video...... nope same thing. So I read the manual, nothing there on any of the formats accepted. Hu, what, WHY NOT?

Are we supposed to read the programmers minds?

I have all the video codecs installed on my system so why is it saying that?

Why did I buy this program? Um, to use but that ain't happening is it.

I also get the codec not in system in iclone.....duh! This is so frustrating and time consuming. But obviously I am not alone in these problems hu?

So any secret hidden ways to fix all this mess ????????

It is many things like this that completely disappoint and turn people off to reallusion's products !!!!!

MSI GE66 Raider, Intel 10th Gen, I7, SC Turbo to 5.3 GHZ, 240HZ, 64GB 3300 Ram,  2x 1TB M2 SSD Drives, NVIDIA GPU RTX 2070/8GB, 55" Sony 4K Monitor  External data drives total 7 TB. and an AUDIO Studio Recording system.

Sorry for you... next time, check the forum: we complained many time about the severe limitation with the video formats.
I bought it and basically never used :-(
RL keeps on saying that this SW works fine, but the reality is that it is old and really limited in terms of input/output video formats.
Moreover, the chroma key features are also quite simple, as you can not even fine-tune the screen color.
What I do, is to chroma-key the video in a NLE an then import them in iClone, by assigning the chroma-keyed video and the mask to the Diffuse and Opacity channel of a 3D Surface prop.
You need to find the right codec (also iClone is quite limited in terms of accepted video format) but then the result is not bad, even when the video covers most of the scene.
Hint: just few days ago one "very big Japanese company" released the new version 13 of their NLE suites, at a very reasonable price, and it includes BorisFX for chroma key... ;-)

RL makes many fantastic SW (I am an iClone lover!), but popVideo is way lower than the level of them.
