I can't say I was surprised but I
was extremely disappointed to see the thread 'Truth In Advertising' had been removed.
I ask the question, if there were offending posts within that thread.....why could they not just be edited out by the forum moderator?
I have just finished reading the forum rules to refresh my memory and I saw nothing in the initial post of that thread to break any rules. It was just a short statement of fact. Does that mean myself or another forum member broke the rules? This again leads me to the question why was the thread not edited instead of deleted?
However, one forum member persistantly posted misinformation within the thread which had no bearing on the intital post and constantly referred to other threads, no doubt this was in an attempt to have the Truth in Advertising thread removed....and it appears to have worked.
I have asked on several occasions to have a three year old thread removed from the forum to no avail, so it seems it's only those and such as those who are listened to by Reallusion. What happened to fairness and equality? Each and every forum member should be treated the same and be permitted to have their say providing it remains within forum guidelines.
This reminds me why I stopped creating content for my Marketplace as well as posting on the Reallusion forum. However, I will now pursue this through the appropriate channels.
I dare say this post may well find it's way to the scrap heap like some others, no matter, that just adds credence to my statement.
