I've update my iClone 5 to version 5.13, but the installer for Physics Toolbox insists that I only have version 5.1 and it will not install. I'm running iClone 5 on a i5 windows 7 64 bit machine running Windows 7 Professional.

Is anyone else having problems?

If you're using the Reallusion Update pop-up to update your iClone - it's been having problems and hasn't actually been installing the latest patch.

Make sure you download the patch by logging into your account, clicking on your iClone 5 'Bonus' link, then choosing "v5.13 Patch ( 55.6MB, 2012/3/23)" on the right column. That's the only way that many of us were able to get to the latest version. It's possible that the Reallusion Update pop-up thing has been fixed by now, though.

Actually, here is a direct link to that patch: http://file.reallusion.com/patch/ic/iC513_Enu_Full_Patch.exe

I posted this in the welcome and howdy do thread but havent
got any replies. I just found this thread which is slightly old and
thought I would try it here.

I am trying to load Physics Toolbox Plugin and I keep coming
up with this error.

"Username and password do not match. Please try again."

Any Ideas what to try? I am using the same username and password
that I log into Reallusion webpage. Do I need to create a different one?

Thanks for any help.

I hope Peter (RL) sees this.

All I can say is that you don't need and should not have a different user name / password combination. The one that gets you into RL account is the one to use. You may want to try and contact support as there may be a mismatch on their end.

Hi Phil

I have checked and the Physics Toolbox pack is correctly registered to the same account as your copy of iClone5 so that isn't the problem here.

Do you have iClone5 updated to the latest version which is 5.21? If not please install the latest update from your Member Account and then try to install the Physics Toolbox pack again.

Thanks.

I deleted my previous download of ic5 pro and re-downloaded and installed it.
I checked the version, it tells me I have 5.2.1618.1, on your web page that
checks the installed version, it tells me that I have 5.2.1618.1 installed.

http://www.reallusion.com/iclone/iclone_upgrade.aspx

The above page says that 5.21.1627.1 is the Official Release Version.
Now I just got done d/l and re-installed ic5 only. I checked the version
in the help about tab. It says I have 5.2.1618.1 loaded. I am courious
why I wouldn't have gotten the 5.21.1627.1 version.

And I tried to re-install the newly re-downloaded Physics Toolbox,
No Luck, the same error that Username and Password
dont match my account info.

If you go to your Account / Product History / iC5 / Bonus & Upgrade, you'll see there are 3 Downloads:

1) Current Version

2) iC5.2 Patch

3) iC5.2.1 Patch

IMO, you need to Install all 3 in consecutive order.

However, if you look at my Screenshot, you'll see that the Current Version (Update) Date is the same as the separate 5.2 Patch Update date. Therefore the current Version might also include the 5.2 Update. If-so, why iclude the separate 5.2 Update Patch? Illogical

That being said, I have several e-mail exchanges with Technical support re; unable to Download Market Place Inventory items.

I've spent a week trying to resolve it my end. I can't fathom-out Reallusion's Program & Updates Logic, which isn't the  way all of the other Programs I have re; Program delivery & Updates, which are industry standards.

BTW - There's a correlation between Program Version Numbers & MSI Installshield Corporation Version Numbers.

The 5.2 patch is for those who have 5.13 already, so in that regard it is needed. I have one installation that's still at 5.13.

If you download the current version, you'll only have to apply 5.21, as far as I know.
