So after watching the demo videos, I eagerly opened up iC5 (yay got it finally) and tried to do a simple reflection... didn't quite work though.
Still having that uber large reflection problem.
How did they do it right in the videos?
Now seeing as iC5's running in DirectX, I know reflections don't work right off the rip. (something about cube maps) but the water one works, so I still don't quite understand why these don't. Is it because it's not on a flat surface, but over a number of surfaces?
That being said, iC5's still freakin' awesome. The toon shading is AMAZING! Although sometimes I wish I could only toon shade certain objects. I have a night time scene where I don't want the characters to be dark, but I want the background lit. Compositing should be pretty simple so I'll give that a shot.
