My graphic card is nvidia geforce gt 525m video system optimistic is it safe to use my iclone5 on my laptop nh751 lifebook laptop.

Unfortunately the wisdom around here is that the graphics power of an NVidia card is hidden in the second numeral, not the first, so a 360 >> 525 by a large amount.

"The first digit in the name of a card represents its generation, while the second and third digits represent the performance of the card relative to others in the family."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeForce

Check the Nomenclature tables at the bottom of that page.

My understanding is that an iClone dream machine uses an Intel i7 chip and the more powerful NVidia chips such as the 460M.

I am using my laptop fujitsu its the nh751 its real powerful I have 8 rams on the laptop and over 600 gigs an. 1 gig dedicated to the nvidia geforce gt discrete graphics intel core i7, quad core.blu ray 2.9ghz max turbo.led screen and yeah I got two fans besides the one that comes with the laptop. An it handles iclone5 very good but sometimes it lags a bit I hate that I might just buy a pc an add money to it. Any one using there laptops for iclone5?

If it is a laptop, perhaps a ViDock could help.

It is an external box with PSU, connected to the PCIe slot of notebooks. It has only 1 line of course and you need to connect a seperate display, but perhaps this is a possible sollution.

But I really recommend some reading, also the PSUs must have enough power, or must be exchanged wich is not possible in all ViDocks.

The NVIDIA Get Force 9600 M GS 1 Gb is a graphics card
for laptops, so he would have to get a laptop graphics card.

First he would have to find out if its even possible
to change the graphics card on his laptop.

They don't even have a separate category for
graphics cards for laptops at newegg. I don't know
anywhere that does, but that doesn't mean there
arent any, as far as I know.

Hi Guido

At the lower price end a Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX will give improved performance.

At the high price end a card like the Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 or GTX 560 will give quite a large boost to performance in iClone. It really depends on your budget. Smile
