that would take a LOT of patience I don't have!
I use avisynth from source forge and virtualdub
I write an avs script with the path and name of my clip with reverse and drop it into virtualdub there are lots of tutorials on how if you Google it.
with avisynth installed
example using notepad
Reverse(AVISource("c:\your video
name.avi"))
save as reverse.avs
encoding ANSI
then drag and drop the file from your windows explorer window into virtualdub's video screen
