Is there a tutorial or someone who can explain the best way to make new clothes for characters? I cannot seem to find any in-depth information on this.

The easiest way to create new clothing is to use CloneCloth. This will allow you to add textures and use opacity maps to create different designs. CloneCloth casual comes with iClone4 and extra design templates are available to purchase.

Will Clonecloth work with Animator Pro? I have worked with iClone before and loved it

No, because iClone models are 3D models and Clonecloth works by replacing the Upper and Lower parts of the character.

CrazyTalk Animator bodies are flat 2D models and need to have flat 2D images.

Apologies for giving you duff information. I thought you were referring to iClone rather than CrazyTalk Animator. As Pau has already advised with CTA you are working with 2D images or drawings rather than working with 3D models.

This means that any photo of clothing can be used as a starting point for adding clothes to your CTA characters. Even better if you are artisitic then you could simply draw your own clothing images and bring them in.

Not sure if you have looked through the various video tutorials for CrazyTalk Animator but there are numerous guides to creating clothed characters. You can find many of them HERE.

Thanks so much for the help. I love this product and want to get the most out of it as I will be using it for television commercials and promos (working on a really cool on now with Charlie Sheen and Ellen DeGeneres.)

I'm assuming users will be sharing various characters, clothing etc. I know that I will share with fellow users.
