I have read that you should bypass any proxy server but I work in an educational establishment where I am intending on developing an animation course and wondered if this program was worth utilising.

I have run the install but when I try to actually use the program it tells me I am not connected to the internet. I am but through a proxy and I cannot simply redirect my computer past the proxy.

I have settings for the proxy so that the program can then route through but no where to place such settings.

Is there no way of validating with a proxy; since most businesses and educational establishments would be using a proxy on their network.
