I need a character to make a turn of approximately 180 degrees, and then walk. There doesn't seem to be any way to do this. Most animations go the "wrong" way from where I want them to go. I can't have her turn in the scene. If I use an animation where she turns, she then assumes the position at the beginning of the scene, which I don't want. If I have her turn on the line, then she turns back for the walking animation. I have tried every single animation. Please help. Thank you.

If I have to buy another pack, just tell me what to buy.

Wow, isn't it sad that people are willing to pay for the most basic of movements because the software does not perform the most basic movements.

Question:  do you want this turn to look natural or mechanical?

If you don't want your Character turning in the Scene, your Character needs to be either at Keyframe 1 on the Transform Timeline & then Rotate the Character / Right-Click on Character / Select Walk Forward /  Left-Click on the point you want your Character to walk towards. Your Character will automatically walk towards that point, without turning in the Scene. Watch the yellow progress bar under the PreviewScreen.

Or, if your Chaacter is anywhere-else along the TimeLine, scrub back& forth along the Transform TimeLine, as far as it will go, clicking on each KeyFrame to check the Character's position, Deleting those where the Character is in the wrong position.

She should look natural, and if possible, drunk.

I agree with you about buying packs. If I had known how much this would cost, I might not have done this movie. I had to buy the wedding pack for the drink animation, the Terms of Endearment pack for the hug animation, etc. Now I'm almost done, so in for a penny, in for a pound.

Therer's a "Hug" Animation Template already supplied with iClone 4 Program (or maybe I copied it from a previous Version's Content). Likewise a Drink Animation embedded in the Beer Glass Template Prop.

Any Animations not supplied as Templates, you can probably make yourself, via Edit Animation Layer. Including looking drunk. Facial puppeetering could be added for additional effect. Or more simply, just adding a Viseme Template in Facial Animation.

IMO, you need to give iC4 several quick overviews to see what's there & try & remember some of it.

Download the archive. In pack:
- drunk-girl-walk.iMotion
- drunk-girl-talk.iMotion
and the combination of the two above
- girl-stand-u-turn-walk.iMotion (see video)

The example I made in a couple of minutes, so it needs a little tweaking (of course :) )

Hope it helps ;)

......................And thanks from me, too:) I'll probably be using them in  a Pinhead Xmas/New Year Clip, currently under construction.

The simplest way to make your character turn around 180 degrees and walk away (without the need for any additional motion files) is to Right Click your avatar - choose Walk Forward and then click in the Preview Window where you want your avatar to go.

So if you click behind your avatar they will turn 180 degrees and then walk to the click point.
