Thank you, to everyone that has replied to the question. I really appreciate it.
I have been enjoying the new animated 2D animator. I think it is great. I hope to added some items to the city market.

What ever version you pick, wacom is the best. Bamboo is great for its price and for many purposes big enough. I have both Bamboo and Intous 4 and for Iclone use the Bamboo should be eneugh, but that just my opinion.
Most off all, it has to do with getting familiar with the use of an tablet. :)

I have barely used iClone 4 yet - but have just found the Gizmo Tool - and WOW !!! - once you activate THAT you are well away with a graphics tablet.

I have the Wacom Intuos 2 (it's pretty old now - but I think it's excellent) and am wondering if anyone has experience of the Intuos versus the Bamboo.

I read that the new(ish) Intuos 4 series goes through nibs really fast - so I'm put off that and wonder how good the Bamboos are.

I believe you can use your fingers which might stop the plastic sheet (if it has one) getting damaged.

I have two Intuos 2s and the one I use on my laptop has serious grooves in a couple of areas from pulling web pages around.

I wouldn't say it's worthless for use in iClone, for those who are very familiar with it. When I used mine with iClone, I was able to navigate and manipulate objects very precisly and quickly. I didn't use it very long though, it was causing a lot of random crashes.

I havn't tried it since the last update though, maby it works better now.

Bamboo is a great tool, but like most hardware there are advantages in having the more expensive versions. It mostly depends on what you need it for. I have Bamboo, but I've seen several other tablets I would like to have, especialy the ones with their own screen.

I use a Wacom BamBoo works great and its cheap:)

Yes, there is a vast army of artists better than I, and I get a vague impression that most of them believe there is nothing to be gained by using a larger and more expensive tablet than the Bamboo. If any of you know different, speak now... (or forever hold your peace). :)

Having said that, you'll definitely want a tablet for modifying textures in iClone, but it's *worthless* for any other iClone task.

Would someone give me some information on which graphics tablet to use, or is it better now to use a tablet with iclone?
