I've been playing around with locking feet and hands, but it seems that it's not the hands that are locked, but the forearms. It would be nice of the hand-lock was on the palm of the hand.
With the feet, I feel it would be very useful to be able to lock the toes in place, especially when trying to create my own walk or run cycles.
Of course, I can't seem to get the locking to really lock anyway. Is this something I'm doing wrong? I noticed in the tutorial (Intro to Motion Editor) that when the demonstrator locks the hands or feet, they still move, too, so maybe I'm expecting too much?

Hi Ron, at the moment iclones IK locks are for the hand and feet which in the skeleton belong to the wrist and ankles. Also the ik is only active while you pose the character and not when it computes the motions in realtime, that is why you get the sliding and feet crushing into the ground. Reallusion is aware of this and is working hard on a fix for this already. My guess is this will be a thing of the past in the next version of iclone ;) Cheers, Stuckon3d
