Sorry for the late response!...... Thanks to all!... you've great ideas to apply on iClone. All the time I find new ways to use iClone. Really is an incredible software. I'm happy with Iclone 4. My first impression was: Wow! That software is a terrible monster comparing it with Moviestorm, but really you have too much more possibilities using iClone than using MovieStorm. It's true that moviestorm is much cheaper but IClone has more possibilities and that's the price that we've paid. I consider that working with IClone is a way to work professionaly and Moviestorm is like a hobby.

Thanks for your help, day by day I'm learning a lot on IClone. The practice is the key.

Stuckon3d, I don't know if I understand it correctly.
Your idea is to convert the images to video format like avi, and use pause and play to change the slides and sync?

Thanks for your help!

Yes fernando,
make your slides the same resolution and make a movie out of them. Make sure is a format that iclone will import.
Then you assign the video to the diffuse channel on the object you are showing the slides on. And by using the play and pause capabilities inside iclone you can move the slides forwards one at a time by keyframing the play and pause. That would be the simple way, or you could do what kursal mentioned, but that means you have to assign one texture per object and keyframe either the opacity/visibility for each object and make sure the objects dont intersect each other, that is why i mentioned the first method, is a lot easier to animate one track, than animating multiple tracks on multiple objects.

I hope this was clear enough, if not I can translate it in spanish for you if it is easier.

Cheers,

1. Use Visible track (On|Off) for each slide. It's simple.
2. You can use Opacity settings for each slide to imitate standard "Crossfade transition" effect.
3. You can even use Transform settings and achieve bunch of various effects :D

fernando, I'm confused about what you're asking for. Can you link to an example of what Moviestorm does that makes it work for you?

At first it sounds like you just want still images for slides, but when you say you want them synchronized to audio, it sounds like you want an AVI that plays the images and sound, which is what stuckon3d explained.

Hi, sorry for my english. I'm a newbie in this world of 3d animation and iClone 4.
A few days I learned to use Moviestorm and this program has a feature to change images as slides when I need to do an equivalent of PowerPoint presentation, but in iClone I don't know how to do this. I need to Sync the images obviously with the audio content.

Please give me some tips to do this. This is one of the reasons that I had to buy this software: made presentations.

Hi fernando,
try doing this.
1) make all images the same resolution and name them sequentially. (example: image001,image002,image003, etc.)
2)Make sure the first image is black or whatever screen you want to initially show.
3) make images into an avi file
4) in Iclone load AVI file into diffuse channel.
5) using the play and pause buttons for the movie file you can sync to the dialogue.

Hope this helped,

Stuckon3d
