The error message I see when launching AML ScripEditor.exe is the following:

"The program can't start because d3dx9_37.dll is missing ..."

To solve the issue, locate a copy of this file and place in the same folder as the AML ScriptEditor executable.  This avoids having to add (install) pre-DX11 components to the system.

Interesting, I get an error when launching the application indicating that it can't find DirectX 9 libraries.  I haven't installed DirectX 9 on the workstation; does this mean that we require DirectX 9?  iClone (and other Reallusion products) seem to be functioning fine with the shipped Win 7 DirectX ... which I assume is providing backwards compatibility since iClone only support DirectX 9.

Or am I overlooking something?

Aml script editor work fine in Iclone 4 , just edit script for target file motion ;)

Finally getting around to exploring the AML ScriptEditor only to discover that it doesn't function on Windows 7 64-bit.  Seems like the application is looking for DirectX 9 lib files.

Am I correct in my assumption that any standard XML editor can be used (ex: MS XML Editor 2007)?  If not, does anyone know if the AML ScriptEditor is slated for a compatibility update for Windows 7 64-bit support.
