Thanks! Good thoughts. I'm still pretty new to iClone and still learning. Those are clever workarounds for what should be a basic feature, as far as I'm concerned. Just being able to cut and paste keyframes, at least between objects, seems like a no-brainer to me... but what do I know. Thanks again! mp

I'm not aware of a way for the object to inherit the movement. Be nice to have. Most of us place two objects animating them as necessary and using visibility to turn them on and off which you've probably already thought of but new users reading this thread may not have considered. Also consider collecting the animation into a new animation that you can click on to give the second object the exact same animation or movement. Then use the timeline for the visibility.
If there is a way to inherit the animation/movement then hopefully someone will enlighten us!

I guess I missed this simple concept/button. But what if I have an object and I've got it doin' some simple movement but I want to replace that object with another object. Of course I want it to inherit the movement of the object it replaced. It's simple I know but I'm wondering how to do it? Thanks! mp
