Hi,

I might get CC4, but I have a couple of questions. I want to create realistic shots from men and women, also elderly people that spark an emotion or feelings. This together with Blender.

Do you need skingen?
Can you create your own assets and import them in CC4 or vice versa
Is the base content enough?

SkinGen itself is a feature built into Character Creator 4. It comes with a small selection of assets to get you started.

If you want more assets then we have two SkinGen content packs called Realistic Skin and Makeup & SFX that add over 500 new assets to your library.

In addition to the SkinGen content packs, we have the SkinGen Premium plug-in which allows you to import your own custom assets for SkinGen, it also allows more than 15 layers and it includes 21 tools (see link below for more on this).

So really if your main use for CC4 is to create multiple different photorealistic human characters and want the most options available, then the add-ons and Premium plug-in will be highly recommended.
