Avatar Builder - New Features

New Features just added to Avatar Builder:

- Edit Clothing Option:  With this you may customize the clothing of your avatar by just saving the image of the clothing template, then modifying in any photo editor and later uploading.

- Soccer Templates: Just in time for the World Cup final, we added 5 new soccer templates and shorts.

Check out the video below to see the great new features in action.

I beg to differ. I think in defence of so many applications now available here, iClone ever more so than most; you have to really want to be an animator.
Really charge in there with a pick axe over your shoulder like a Navvy in a china shop, thrashing your way through all its capabilities hungrily uncovering its how-to's with the enthusiasm of a bull in heat; the inspiration of the first man on the moon; the ability to improvise, wriggle and weave your way through most of the surface potential and ask for pointers on the tricky bits.

But if you mince your way through life like a wet blouse and treat the world with the enthusiasm of soggy toast, don't even look at iClone because you just wont make it. It doesn't wet-nurse anyone.

I've recently introduced two people to iClone. And one of them is only 12. And the fire for how-to knowledge carries them over hurdles you'd have thought impossible.
Armstrong.

I'd like to see a "Newbie" complete this task from the given instructions!

Notice ALL of the steps involved "WITHOUT" an explanation of how to do it!

Oh Yea! You're expected to know "All Those Unexplained Steps!"

Newbie Completion... IMPOSSIBLE!

Hi swoooop,

What problems are you having with the process?

It really doesn't require advanced knowledge and the steps are pretty basic. As long as you have a reasonable understanding of your photo editing software you should have no problem achieving what is described in the video.

For real? A bull in heat? It takes all of that? You work the hyperbole like no other!

I think I'll continue to "mince like a wet blouse with the enthusiasm of soggy toast", the other options sound positively EXHAUSTING.

Sw0000p, I second that emotion, more detailed explaination just might help reach more of those potential sales.

All arts is political, otherwise it would just be decoration. And all artists have something to say, otherwise they'd make shoes.

I watched the tutorial again and I don't see how it could be more basic without being ineffective. If somebody has never used a graphics editor it will be tough... But where is the limit?

It looks simple enough to me.

The problem would be which photo editing tool should they give more indepth instruction in as not a lot of people are gona have photoshop and have no idea how to use it.......Its not cheapBigGrin

How to do it in Gimp would be better I think as there does seem to be a thinking that we all have photoshop...

And isnt it a Navvy in heat and a Bull in a china shop ? Unless the Bull was tempted into the shop due to the shop selling plates with pictures of cows on them.. Then thats just like crockery porn for bulls on heat and the shop keeper should move to the city away from horny live stock. Does the Navvy own the shop ?

As to the graphics editor, the instructions could probably be made generic, so as not to aim at a specific editor, which would make even more people happy, including me. (I don't like GIMP's UI too much...)
