Unfortunately you haven't explained enough to understand the problem. What are you exporting that looks low poly? Is it an ActorCore character purchased from store?

Please explain in more detail what the problem is and please provide screenshots or a video showing the issue first hand so we can understand. Thanks.

The character you see in AccuRig is the actual low-poly model. What you were seeing before was the character automatically smoothed to give the impression of a higher ploy model. Most 3D software offers this feature and you can also do this in our own Character Creator 4.

An example of auto-smoothing using our software can be seen below.

Also, can I please ask you stop spamming the forum with with multiple posts related to the same issue. It is only your first three posts that need to be approved, so please post and wait for the approval rather than continuously spam the forum. Thanks.

I kept spamming , bc u refused to let any message get through, for whatever reason.

I imported the fbx already smoothed out, then accuRig exports the file unsmoothed, that is the problem. mixamo doesnt have this problem

It was because you were spamming that delayed your posts getting approved. Spamming will just flag your posts as suspicious and delay approval.

Regarding the actual issue, you didn't import a smoothed out mesh, you imported the original low-poly mesh (Accurig doesn't add smoothing or make any changes to the polycount of a model). The smoothing is done using a combination of features such as material maps like normals and the smoothing features of the particular software you were using.

To make a character permanently higher poly requires subdivision but the downside to this is this makes them more resource heavy. That's why gaming companies use lower poly models for a higher frame rate and let the game engine and material mapping improve the quality and smoothness.

So once you have rigged your character in AccuRig, just export it and take it into the 3D software you plan to use. Then apply all the materials and you should find it looks fine again.

u guys need to fix this software!

It is always low poly after exporting. No ohter program does this! U need to fix this or this program is unusable.

The original files are all smoothed. I have no issue importing them to unity and they are all with smooth surfaces. Only if I import it into accuRig first, the model turns into unsmoothed garbage
