I remain in awe of how well Live Link works with UE5. One strange problem is occurring with our characters though. When the iClone 8 character is transferred to UE5.4 we find his arms and chest don't cast shadows (see image below). Does anybody know what causes this and how we can fix it?

Try going into the material and making it two-sided. If doing it in the instance doesn't work, do it on the skeletal mesh, and if all else fails try on the CC master material. That fixed it for me, but each time took me doing it in a different place. :-)
