I have a single humanoid mesh file (fbx) and a body animation file (fbx) for the mesh. I can load these in a 3D app like Max or Blender and the animation plays, but I don't actually want to use Max or Blender to play these animations. I don't even want to use the mesh they were made for. What I would like to be able to do is to import the animations to CC or iClone and play them on my CC characters. The skeleton has about 300 bones - I know most of them are not necessary for the animation, but I did not know which ones were ok to remove and have the animation still work. I just want to use the animations in my Reallusion products with only as many bones as needed. Is this possible? If so what does the Hi Level work flow look like? Thank You Much for any info
