Hello,
I just started animating my humanoid characters in iClone with the intention of exporting the animations to Unreal/Blender/Others for final rendering. It looks like the way to get “animation” out of iClone is via FBX. I'm wondering if there are any aspects of an animation that you create in iClone 8 that will not export in an fbx file to another application? For example I assume if you use the edit visibility on an object in your animation, that is not going to transfer over to another application, but I'm clueless about all the other stuff on the timeline:
Do all these layers (not just the checked ones) export with the fbx file?
What happens to all the layers, do they get mixed down to a single layer in the fbx file on export? Thank you very much for any info!

Hi... The following formats are not supported for exporting to FBX: iLight, .iEffect, .iParticle, .iTree, .iGrass, .iTerrain (heightmaps), .iWater, .iSky, .aml, .iTalk, .iPath. The chart below shows what can be exported.
