Hi everyone, I created this avatar using Blender and imported it to iClone 8.5. I have the latest version of iClone. When I try to export, I receive this message. Has anyone seen this message before? What can I do to solve this?

You must first purchase the content licenses in order to export FBX and USD files.

If you choose to Buy, the product will be directly added to the shopping cart on the Reallusion website. Please make sure that the account used to log in to the website matches the one used for the software. You can check the login name through Menu → Help...

Hi...

Are you using any Reallusion content with the character such as accessories?

Also have you tried clicking "Buy" as suggested in the warning message? This should let you know which content is causing the problems.

Also try "activate Purchased Items" under "Help" at upper bar right.
I also had this even without using RL content, this mostly works.

So I'm seeing that some motions don't have extended licenses. The process of separating those with standard from extended is proving to be very tedious. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.
I'm looking at Medieval Motions, some 500 of them. I have to keep clicking into each one to see if it is standard or extended. So far everything has been standard. Is there a more efficient way to determine if the motion is available under an extended license. Or an alternate place to buy motions that don't take hours trying to wade through them to see what can be exported via FBX and used in Unreal Engine? I thought there would be a filter but not seeing that on the Marketplace. Thanks.

You are aware that "extended" has nothing to do with export FBX?
I mean you can also export "standard".
And as far I know for motions "extended" is not necessary for any purpose. Extended is for Character Creator assets used in games...
@Peter (RL)
Please can you clarify this?

Part of the problem is I don't use the software for a period of time and then I start to forget how all this works.

To clarify, I am attempting to export characters to be used in a game in Unreal Engine. I see that a standard license can work for games but I'm not sure if that covers what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to give the player a choice of different characters of different races. The characters will use the same motions but swap out the character depending on what the player chooses.

Also, right now I'm attempting to export a character via FBX with custom motions. I get this popup that a content license must be purchased. Ok, for which motion? Do I have to painfully go through one motion at a time to see if it will give me a popup? There must be a better way to do this, and probably is, but I either don't remember it or just don't know it.

And also when searching in the marketplace it would be helpful to sort by license as well. If I can, I missed it.

In the past there were content and export licenses. Content licenses could only be used inside Reallusion software.

Now there are standard and extended licenses. Both standard and extended licenses allow export. The only difference is on paper, on how you can use them in certain projects.

You need to find a way to update your content licenses to standard or extended licenses. This might be possible do to in your customer account at Reallusion.com. For example, if I remember it correctly, I was able to update old export licenses to extended licenses.

As already explained by toystorylab, motions do not require an Extended license. All motions can be used with just the Standard license.

So my understanding now is that all motions fall under a standard license and do not require an extended license.
And it also sounds like I have content licenses that need to be converted to standard licenses. A few days ago I clicked activate purchased items but that didn't seem to work. Any ideas on how I can go from content to standard license and move forward with my project? Thanks.

Ok, so after wading through a bunch of motions to try and determine the culprit I was led back to Knight Warrior by Explosive, LLC. At some point in the past I purchased the pack. So when I clicked on the pack, not the motion, it says I have to upgrade to use the pack I had already purchased.
So is this causing the problem? I have to go pay more for motions I once paid for to go from content license to standard? And if that is correct I get to do that for everything I paid for in the past if I want to use them outside of iClone?
