n Hello Luke,
It's me again with more news regarding the bug. It's not only for facial motion but also for motions clips... I'm using PN3 from perception neuron and now everytime I'm breaking the clip, it deletes all the modifications I made to "reload" the raw position of the body, especially the torso area. This is so weird. I'll try to reproduce it and send some screenshots to you or even the project.

Well I'll send you another project see if this issue is there again, I had to keep working on it so found a potential solution... Kinda time consuming but it works (basically I had to merge every facial clip and then break the part I wanted to edit/delete so it "cheats"). I'll see if it's the same issue with another project and send it to you.
And thank you so much for your answer regarding a new render engine ! I understand it takes time. It was merely to know what to say to my client lol. And I'll gladly test it when the time comes ! This is good news indeed.

Hi, Kalex Yes, with the current hub version, this issue does indeed exist. However, the hotfix version we provided to the support team should have already resolved it. I followed the steps shown in 4u2ges' video and recorded the same operations, and the results were also correct.
That's why I would like to check your reproducible project to see where the problem might be.
By the way, regarding the render, yes, we are definitely continuously working on improving it, whether through integrating existing RTX technology or developing our own engine. However, these efforts require a long-term commitment, so we can't provide a timeline at the moment. But once there are visible developments, we'll definitely find a way for you to start testing it. I hope you can understand. Kalex (9/24/2024) Hey Luke, Sure I can send you the project, but it is as 4u2ges said. It's only from left to right: the clip after the first one will always be the one which deletes all facial data if broken. If I merge 2 clips into one, then it's gonna be the 3rd which would delete facial data if broken, and so on...
Also, this question has nothing to do with the subject but I'm not having any answer from reallusion devs (my client is getting quite pushy). Do you know if Reallusion is planning on improving its render engine at some point ? That would allow me to ask my client to wait a bit more or just tell him to don't ask anymore lol.
Thank you for your help !

Hi, 4u2ges Which version are you using? It seems like it's iClone 8.5 from Reallusion Hub, not the upcoming patch version that I provided to our support team. 4u2ges (9/23/2024) @Luke (RL)
It's very weird math bug in calculation of some sort. You do not see it because your clip probably starts at frame 1. The issue appears to be active only when you move a clip over to the right and only when you try to break it at the frame which is higher than the total number of frames for that clip. I hope this makes sense :)
This should make it more clear

Hi, Kalex It's really embarrassing that we still cannot reproduce it. Here's how we tested, but we're not sure if there were any differences that caused the issue. Could you provide us with a project that can reproduce it?
Kalex (9/23/2024) Hey Luke,
Here is a little video I filmed to show the bug. First clip: everything is fine, facial data stays. Second clip: whenever I'm trying to break, facial data is deleted.

Hi, Kalex We are unable to reproduce the issue on our end. Could you please provide us with a screen recording? Kalex (9/21/2024) Hello Luke,
I thought at first the hotfix solved the issue of fixing the break facial animation problem. It did but only for the "first" animation clip. When it comes to the others, it deletes once again the animation data. I have to export all animation clips separately, break and edit them individually, and then re-export them for proper use.
