Hello, I'm new to the forums, so thank you in advance. I have an animated short I'm working on and am going back and forth working on animations and the character. What are some best practices for when a character has been updated in character creator with maybe better materials or even a costume change through iClone into Unreal? I've figured out I can save out the new avatar from CC4 and easily update the character into an existing animation in iClone. Where I'm stumped is then updating the character in Unreal and then again in sequencer. Thanks gain, Ted

If your workflow is to export avatars from cc4 and import them in UE5 as FBX, then I am afraid they don't update with a single click, as it happens between CC4 and IC. You would have to import the new, changed character from the beginning.
If you are using the live link, again I think you have to do the import process, but maybe it's faster this way? I don't know I haven't used it yet.
Maybe there is another way that someone more knowledgeable than me would reveal!

Thank you, JulieMe, What I was looking for was if I changed clothing on a character or refined it in CC or iClone how can I update the new version of the character in UE's Sequencer. I found what I needed here: https://youtu.be/WZqeVU09h_A?t=2222
