AgeGen has been converted to CC3+, and tested in iClone 7 with CC3 exported CC3+ characters, and with limited testing in iClone 8 and characters exported from CC4 (includes Horatio, CC3+ character initially morphed in CC3 with AgeGen morphing tools, sold separately)

Hi Colonel,

Ever since I applied your plugin to one of my characters, I have had problems with the "iClone" icon appearing on my screen, telling me I can't render unless I purchase the items marked in red. Problem is I purchased all those items. I've been using them without any trouble for years.  Nevertheless,  I click on "Activate purchase items", but nothing happens. I click on "View purchased items" and a windows appear telling me that I have no unpurchased items. So now I can't render any scene I ever produced.

I have another computer, less powerful, where I didn't install your plugin, and no "iClone" sign appears.

I'll check that out. When I uploaded the Substance Smart Gallery had a warning about some dependency not being included. Substances are a non iclone products so I don't know what dependency it was referring too.

What are the items in red it is the rendering referring too?

Have you applied AgeGen to other characters? Does the problem still exist with them?

Update: I have sent you a message with another CC3 Plus AgeGen file link. When I uploaded that there were no issues. I think the issue may be with CC3+ Avatar files.

Any scene I open, there are a few, sometimes many,  items in red.

Yes, any other character, even the characters included in iClone, has the same problem: watermark and red color. I use iClone 8 and it behaves very erratically with your plugin.

Now that I have deleted your plugin and re-booted my computer, no more problems. But if I try to re-install your plugin, problems re-appear. I could not find the possible solution you are referring to.

Hi... I'm at a loss as to what the problem could be. I've just uploaded a screenshot showing 3 of my Substance plugins applied to a iClone 8 Toon character.

The link says the file in question is not available for purchase so I can't put it in my cart. I'll try to send you a screenshot of the items in red. But I hesitate to install the plugin again due to the fact that it gave me such trouble the first time around. I'll see what I can do.

Even now, without your plugin installed, I get red markers. Even in character creator, Look at the upper right at: face old. Look at the watermark.  Is there a way to uninstall your plugin entirely? I never used your plugin with this character.

Any scene I open, without your plugin even installed, I get watermarks and a bunch of items in red. Those items always showed in white before.

That's really weird. 1. the substance is only added to one model at a time. 2. It is only installed when it is loaded from the file.
Going by the scene you posted it appears that the substances for the other effects aren't being found where they should be. 3. My substances cannot be loaded into Character Creator. 4. It would appear that the substance engine in both CC and iclone is corrupted. I don't think a substance would do that.

As for removing the substance go to typically "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Reallusion\Template\iClone7 Template\iClone Template\Materials Lib\CWK_CC3+ Substances" and remove it.

I have recompiled and tested the substance many times in iClone 7 and 8 and have found no issues, so I cannot understand what the problem is.
