I noticed a lot of outfits have a number on their photo, and I ASSUME these are the amount of mesh / colour options they have -- but where do I find them? Because I can only find the one item in the folder?

Hi...

The number indicates the clothing layer order where larger numbers go over the top of lower numbers. So for example, underwear will have a low number, a shirt a higher number, and a coat will have an even higher number.

The clothing layer numbers can be manually changed if needed. So for example, if you have two items of clothing with the same number, you can manually change it so one goes over the top of the other. You can do this by clicking Modify > Cloth Layer Settings on the Menu Bar.
