Hi Peter, Thanks for your reply! I'm just getting started with CTA4 and hope to upgrade to v5 in the next couple months. I'm looking for any in-depth, step-by-step tutorials showing how to use Affinity Designer with CTA4 for animation. I've created several characters from scratch using Affinity Designer 2 and have set my PSD in CTA4 to Affinity Designer. I'm currently trying to accurately layer character components correctly and convert my .af character designs to enable import into CTA4. I've tried exporting my current characters with Affinity in different file formats, including PSD. I've watched videos and read many forum threads, but can't seem to find anything showing the small details and how to's about creating characters from scratch in Affinity Designer, then bringing them into CTA4 for motion, backgrounds, etc. Any recommendations or links for resources would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately most of our tutorials use Photoshop or Illustrator. However, you can find Affinity Photo and Designer specific setup instructions.by clicking the link below.

What I would suggest is to follow the basic character creation tutorial below, This is an old tutorial using Photoshop but it should be quite easy to adapt the same process to Affinity products and is easy to follow.
