I want to have a character customization option in my game, and I'm aware I would need to purchase the Enterprise License from Reallusion. However, many of my character models I have bought from the marketplace are under the Standard License, and if I'm correct, to do character customization in my game I would need the Extended License for each of them, yes?I have set up a few characters for my game with custom animations using iClone, and have created some custom morphs for them as well.So my question is, are these licenses embedded into the character? When I buy the Extended License for a model, would I have to redo all my custom morphs for the character and specific body changes? Or could I keep the same characters that I bought with the Standard License, and just purchase the Extended License from the author and I would be good?

Hi... If you purchase the Extended License for any Reallusion content you plan to use in your game, then you will be good to go. You won't need to redo any work already done. The content will simply have it's license automatically updated to be Extended instead of Standard. Once you have the Extended license version of the content you can then use that content with unlimited characters and in an unlimited number of games.

Thanks Peter! Additionally, I have one more question. Just to verify, I do not need to contact the author for an Enterprise License for each model/prop I use from the marketplace/contentstore for having an in-game character creator system, and only need the Enterprise License from Reallusion itself?

Hi... Using any in-game character creation or custom wardrobe system is forbidden with the Standard or Extended Licenses. To use Reallusion content in a character creation system in-game, requires an Enterprise License where the price is negotiated on a case by case basis and will cover all content used in the game. Generally this is an option for larger game studios rather than Indie developers as the cost will be substantially more than the Extended License pricing. However, if you are considering the Enterprise License option then please use the link below to start. https://www.reallusion.com/license/enterprise.html
