I have been working for hours trying to figure out while my nail colors go from light to dark. My character's fingernails look fine but then when I go to the toes, they are a lot darker. And if one hand goes in the shade, they get extremely dark as compared to the one in the light. I was thinking it was something to do with Subsurface scatter but have exhausted my options trying to find the right controls for adjusting. Could anyone help?

Also to add, it seems none of my controls in the material for the nails or the skin editor work so really lost here.
