UE5 has been out for two years and we still cannot export using its skeleton, anyone interested in this should vote for it here. (not my feedback post but it gets the job done) https://www.reallusion.com/FeedBackTracker/Issue/UE5-Skeleton-Export/1/Unreal%20Engine%205%20Skeleton
Waiting two years for a major thing like this is not really reasonable, Reallusion software is very expensive, I expect better support.

Hey, man! I'm totally on your side, but I'm afraid your outcry is directed in the wrong direction. This isn't about the laziness of the Reallusion team, it's about Epic Games' self-interest. EG is heavily promoting their MetaHuman platform (which uses epic skeleton 5) and seems unwilling to grant third party companies the rights to use it. They were still pretty loyal to Reallusion and provided them with tools to port CC4 character appearances to MetaHuman (this avatar kit and MetaHuman Live Link are free on Reallusion Hub). How do you transfer clothes and items from CC4 to MH...? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Think for yourself. This is gamedev business. You didn't think it would be easy, did you? ))

What I want is for CC4 characters to export using the UE5 skeleton, it doesn't involve MetaHuman characters at all and epic is perfectly fine and encourages anyone and everyone to use the UE5 skeleton for their characters.

I hear you, man. But I think this topic has already lost relevance. The new UE 5.4 now has automatic retargeting for all popular biped skeletons, including CC skeletons. It itself, in one click, corrects the transferred animation (e.g. from UE5 to CC4 and back) without any manual IK settings, so exporting characters from CC with UE5 skeleton has already lost relevance. Animations are transferred qualitatively as it is.

This has not lost relevance because more and more people are writing software/asset packs/attack engines that use the UE5 control rig and attempting to use that results in really messed up animations because the bones names are not the same i.e. Flexible combat system and ACF.
