I know the answer to this (the answer is no) but perhaps some dev will come by one day and think about adding this.

We DESPERATELY need a way to programmatically link material textures (like the one button press inside of iClone - and before you say "well, why don't you just do that?" the answer is it only works AFTER all the maps are loaded.  If you try it beforehand it will link, for example, all the standard metallic and roughness defaults and no other slots in otherwise identical materials, and this doesn't help with automagically putting maps in as we really need to do inside of iClone).

We have all the other tools to add maps, so missing a way to link them (and speed things up 10x or more) is really bad.  I asked for this an eternity ago (back when a certain dev who shall remain nameless actually communicated with me) and I guess he got busy with other things (although he did give me my environment and clothing asks.  I guess I was too greedy).

Anyway - just another thing I'll most likely die before seeing (the clock is ticking, unfortunately).
