Hi all, I found this tutorial on getting transparent backgrounds for video. It works but it does require a couple extra steps in Da Vinci Resolve.

Is there a way to get transparent video to work automatically from export the same way it does for png's?

You can render as Sequence Images which will output with a transparent background. The Sequence Images can then be opened in most video editing software and compiled to your chosen video format. Note: You will separately need to render the audio to a WAV file as well.
