I am writing on this forum as a last resort after testing for multiple work days to get this workflow to pan out and as you can tell it didn't as I am here.

I have followed every tutorial possible even the formal one posted by Reallusion themselves on their Youtube page as well as multiple ones found on this forum as well. Listed below are a few of the resources visited.

The Issue
When attempting a roundtrip edit a character in blender, during re-import back into character creator the character gets stuck on "collecting substance textures". I have given it half an hour just to make sure it wasn't a slow machine (it shouldn't be as this device is high end). I had prior issues when trying to import an actor-core version and it wouldn't make it past the import stage but now I am simply trying to import a base CC4 character with a custom clothing that have been weighted in CC to go to blender to fix some weighted and mesh errors and it just hangs up on the re-import



Details

• Using a CC4 Character "Susan" not decimated in any way
• Using custom modeled clothing that is brought in and weighted and rigged in Character Creator 
• Using proper Reaillusion provided plugins for Blender and CC to import and Export items 
• Tried doing just base model without custom clothes and still got hung up importing textures
• Tried a general export out of CC without add-on making sure I deselect "embedded media" as explained in one forum, no difference, still hangs up
