I appreciate that I can install iClone on two computers but that I can only work on one computer at a time. I have recently begun working with Live Link and Unreal and find it to be a very useful and well-designed system. My question is how I can incorporate this into a workflow where I have an assistant in another city who works with me on Unreal projects. He does NOT use iClone and has no interest in doing so. Will it be necessary for him to purchase an iClone license to be able to work with Unreal Projects that I'm using Live Link with? As an example, let's say he has animated a vehicle in an Unreal project that we are working on together. I want to add character animation with LiveLink into the project and then have him do further development in the project so that he sees my animated characters as he works on the project. Does he need to have his own iClone and LiveLink licenses?

Hi... If your assistant is only working in Unreal using projects and content you have saved in Unreal, then they won't need a copy of iClone 8. However, if your assistant needs to do some work with Live Link themselves then yes they will need a licensed copy of iClone 8. It isn't permitted for them to use the second installation of your licensed copy.

I appreciate your response very much. That makes sense. I believe he was having trouble actually seeing some of my assets. I'll get back with him and make sure he has all the applicable plug-ins. As long as he can see my characters properly we'll be golden.
