"iClone Live Link Plug-in for Unreal 5.2" - Is there an updated plugin for UE5.3?
Also....I followed this tutorial, on how to set up LiveLink between the MetaHuman inside of UE5.2 and iClone8.4.
I finally got the live link to work....two main questions.
1) If I transfer motion (NOT the whole scene, I do that only once) to UE5.2. And click play in IC8 the animation in IC8 gets transfered to UE5.2.
A cmd window opens up....and so forth...and completes the transfer.
Then (as I said) I click play in IC9 and go back to UE5.2 and the animation plays on the MH.
BUT then I went back to IC8 and applied a NEW motion animation to character, and played it in IC8, it of course plays, but I noticed the animation also plays in UE5.2.
That is, I did NOT click transfer motion to UE5.2.
So I am confused. What is the difference between the two?
Where I explicitly transfer motion (only the motion)?
And when I do not explicitly tranfer the motion?

2) My second question is this....without IC8 open, how do I use the resulting animation that was use during live link?
The normal way I would do it, is to export an FBX file from CC4 (with animation) or from IC8(with animation)
Then go back to UE5.x and import the FBX with the animation. And set the skeleton to MH skeleton, then set up the Animation Asset to the animation from the FBX I just imported onto my actual MH character.
Well, of course this is fine, but do I still have to do all this? IC8 already transfered the scene and animation over, so isn't there a quicker way than doing above steps?
I tried but the IC8 animations do not show up that got transferred to UE5.x project.
