Hi All,

I'm have severe issues. Since I've been using Iclone4 more than 3 I decided to uninstall 3, but now 4 won't open. I reinstalled 4, but it still won't open. Did I do something wrong? Do I need to reinstall 3?

Any help would be greatly apreciated! :)

My guess is that you have some sort of iClone shortcut hanging around after the iClone 4 installation which still points to iClone 3, which I think you said you un-installed.

Instead of clicking the first icon you see, try going to All Programs > Reallusion > iClone 4 and clicking on the icon you find under that.

I tried, but it still won't launch. I even tried restarting my computer. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling again. :)

iClone uses Visual C++ 2008 runtime libraries. May be they got corrupted as a result of uninstalling. It's hard to imagine, but worth checking.

One other thing you could try, if you have enabled restore points: go back to a point before you uninstalled IC3.

The uninstall/reinstall took a while, but it worked! Something probably was corrupted during the uninstall. Also I'm using Vista, which always gives me problems. Thank you both very much for your help. :)

Oh, I was wondering where I could get a good list of tutorials. I would like to use Iclone more, but I'm no good at making the characters move realistically The movements always come out choppy for me. Thank you! :)
