I have tried importing an FBX into Iclone8 from CC4 and also as a direct import and find that all the messes are combined so I end up with a single scene with no ability to move individual items. In CC4 the items are separate objects as they should be. When importing into Iclone8 I do not get the box asking if I want to "break up the meshes into sub-props?". What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

Hi... If your CC4 project includes a character and props just choose File > Export > Send To iClone > All. This will open everything in iClone 8 as separate objects.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have tried doing that but for some reason it opens in Iclone8 as one single item named "RootNode" not as separate objects. I didn't have this problem with CC3 to Iclone7. Very confusing.

p to my reply, If I send it back to CC4 it opens as individual items again. Am I missing a setting in Iclone8?

Perhaps you could post a screenshot showing the project you are trying to send to iClone, This might give a clue to the problem.
