First of all, there is a 3D preview when you select a character, which gives a pretty good idea of what it will look like. Well, that's just it: The 3D preview gives a good idea of what the character looks like...but ONLY from a distance. The problem is when you get close. The preview window prevents you from zooming past a certain point, several feet out (which made me pause at the time..."Why?"). Now I know why.
Secondly, it is clearly stated that this is an ActorSCAN character, with a link providing more information. You will find the following regarding its application in a
comparison:
"Crowd rendering for archviz, game, film, digital twins; suitable for long to middle shot camera ranges, with natural facial performance"
That's fine. But visiting the page for the first time, one has no idea what the "ActorScan" logo means. I'm going strictly off the images (which look good) and the preview window, not the name "ActorScan".
I'd suggest 2 things: 1) Clearly state "For c
rowd rendering for archviz, game, film, digital twins; suitable for long to middle shot camera ranges, with natural facial performance" at the top of the page. 2) Allow the preview pane to zoom in to within a foot of the character. That way, the potential buyer knows exactly what they're getting.
Now I know. What I need are "ActorOrigin" assets.
Thank you for the response.
